Rhea Seddon, one of the first six women astronauts accepted into Nasa, is featured in Netflix’s new movie, Challenger:  The Final Flight.  The four-part docuseries interviews engineers, officials, and the crew member’s families to provide their perspective on the 1986 Space Shuttle Challenger disaster and it’s aftermath.

Seddon was in the middle of her career as an astronaut when the space shuttle Challenger exploded shortly after takeoff on Jan. 28, 1986, killing all the crew aboard. 

Seddon is currently featured on the cover of My Hometown Health, BCI’s quarterly consumer magazine aimed at potential patients and the local community at large, where she discusses how the information she learned in the space program transitioned into the healthcare space.
